How to make homemade almond milk

I recommend starting with a small batch to make sure you like it.
Here's what you'll need:
1 cup of soaked almonds
4 cups of filtered water
1/8 tsp of stevia
1/2 tsp Pure vanilla extract
(or honey or sugar to taste)
A fine strainer or strainer bag
Step By Step Instruction

Soak 1 cup of raw almonds in filtered water
(Cupcake Mommy Tip: For best flavor only soak for 1-3 hours)
Drain the water after soaking

Measure 4 cups of purified water or filtered

Place almonds and 4 cups of water in blender

Next add 1/8 of a teaspoon of Stevia or any other natural sweetener of your choice
(honey or raw sugar, add to taste)

Blend in high powered blender such as Blendtec or Vitamix for best results

Place a fine strainer or strainer bag over large bowl or pitcher

Pour and squeeze to extract all the almond milk, leaving the pulp behind

Delicious & natural with no added thickeners or mystery ingredients

Cupcake Mommy Note:
The milk taste best after refrigerating for a few hours. Some of you may think it needs to be sweeter but I actually like the earthy almond taste without being too sweet. Let me know if you make it. Enjoy!
