As our time here in Memphis comes to an end, we have really been trying to live up every day like its our last. Whenever James has a day off we like to get out and make it an all day affair. Today we visited one of our favorite parks, which happens to be one of the largest urban city parks in the country, Shelby Farms.There are various lakes, beautiful hills and trails, horse back riding and a new really cool playground. But one of our most favorite things is the buffalo conservation right as you enter the park. Most of the times the buffalo can be seen at a distance but today they were so close, you could see every detail in their very ginormous stature. We took a few pics, played at the park then headed to one of our favorite BBQ joints off the beaten roads of HWY 70, Fat Larry's. The BEST beef brisket in all of Memphis, we kept it southern and even had fried green beans and pickles dipped in their homemade ranch dressing...A-Mazing! We ended our outing with yet one more Memphis staple, Muddy's Cupcakes. Another one of Memphis' "bests" I loved today. Just me and boys :)
