Imagination Adventures

As a child I have very fond memories of hiding under sheet and blankets or a pile of clothes and instantly being taken to another place or even another country. My imagination would run wild and for some reason I would visit China alot, ha! I can still close my eyes and remember the feelings I would get when "going into"my fort or cave and escaping to another place. I would be lost in time. As a Mom now it makes me smile every time I get to create those same memories for Liam. We recently moved his bed right beside ours with the hopes that he would get out of our bed pshh, lasted 5 days.  And while it didn't work out as a side cart bed, it has served a great purpose as his "fort". He gets so giddy and excited when he's under those sheets. He takes books in there and toys and get a kick out of peeking his head out and seeing if I'm still there. I often wonder at what age imagination meets reality? I hope for Liam it lasts a long time. I can't wait to create even more adventures and memories for him
